A Free Invoice Generator That Respects Your Client Data
Every invoice contains sensitive information: who your clients are, what you charge them, your bank details. Most "free" invoice generators run that through their servers, require an account, and either watermark the PDF or hold it hostage behind an upgrade. This one does none of that. The PDF is assembled entirely in your browser, the download is unbranded, and nothing you type is sent anywhere.
It also works as a lightweight invoicing app: save each invoice to the device-local history, then next month hit Duplicate — the invoice number increments automatically, the date updates, and you just adjust the line items. Is there a watermark or a page limit?
No watermark, no limits, no account. The PDF you download is yours, with nothing added.
Where is my invoice data stored?
Only in your browser's local storage on this device — both the current form and any invoices you save to the history list. Nothing is ever transmitted; you can verify with your browser's network tab, or use the tool offline. Deleting entries or clearing site data removes everything instantly.
What if I switch computers or clear my browser?
Use Export — it downloads your whole invoice history (logo included) as a single JSON file on your disk. Keep it wherever you keep backups, and Import it on any device to pick up where you left off. That's backup and sync with no server involved.
Can I add my own tax label like GST or VAT?
The tax line prints as a percentage. Mention the tax name (GST, VAT, sales tax) and your registration number in the business details or notes — that's where most jurisdictions expect it anyway.
How do I email it to a client?
Download and attach — the file is small. If you invoice with supporting documents, merge them into one PDF first, and consider password-protecting invoices containing bank details.
